Suhas Mokashi, the author of this book, is a well known Process Engineer and Entrepreneur. He graduated in Chemical Engineering from UDCT – now Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT). He did M.Tech in Chemical Plant Design from Indian Institute of technology, Mumbai. He is Distinguished Alumnus of ICT and also of London Business School.

Suhas Mokashi has more than four decades of industrial experience most of which was in Davy Powergas, an engineering- construction company. He was project manager there and formed a strong process engineering group. He retired as Director, Marketing and Technology from Davy Powergas, now Aker Solutions. He established Xytel India Pvt Ltd, a specialized pilot plant design – fabrication company, where he was Managing Director.

Suhas Mokashi was awarded the NOCIL Award by the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers for Excellence in Process Design. He was a visiting professor at UDCT – ICT and has presented several technical papers. He is a founder member of the team that started Post-graduate certificate course in Chemical Technology Management. His contribution to creating Innovation & Incubation Centre at ICT is well recognised. He is Life Member of IIChE and Fellow of Institute of Engineers.
