Coal India Signs NDAs with NSW Firms to Bolster Critical Mineral Supply

Coal India Limited (CIL) signed two Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with entities located in New South Wales (NSW), Australia. CIL is actively exploring mining opportunities for critical minerals on a global scale, with Argentina being among the key countries under consideration.

The strategic initiative is in alignment with India’s objectives outlined at COP28, which underscore the imperative to reduce carbon emissions by embracing clean energy solutions.
