Adani Group Aiming for 45 GW Renewable Energy Capacity by 2030

The Adani Group is embarking on a monumental project in Gujarat, constructing what is poised to become the globe’s most extensive renewable energy park. With a staggering capacity of 45 GW, primarily harnessing solar power, this initiative signifies a significant stride towards sustainable energy production.

Gautam Adani, Chairman, Adani Group while speaking at the inauguration of the ‘Energy Revolution: The Adani Green Energy Gallery’ in London’s Science Museum, emphasized the group’s commitment to environmental stewardship across generations. As the foremost solar power developer globally and India’s premier renewable energy entity, Adani Green Energy spearheads this transition.

Adani further revealed plans for the park in Khavda, Gujarat, spanning an expansive 538 square kilometres – more than five times the size of Paris. The venture, aiming for 30 GW of energy generation, underscores the Adani Group’s ambitious vision to achieve 45 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. As reported by ETEnergyworld.com, the group currently manages a renewable energy portfolio with a capacity exceeding 9.5 gigawatts (GW), and has secured projects with a potential capacity of up to 21.8 GW.
