Sajjan India Limited (Sajjan), a contract development and manufacturing company (CDMO) of specialty chemicals and active ingredients for agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and other industries, appointed Dr. Dirk Backhaus as Independent Director.
As per the press release, Dr. Dirk Backhaus has three decades of experience in the crop science and agrochemical sectors. He previously served as member of the executive leadership team and head of product supply for Bayer’s Crop Science Division, overseeing planning, sourcing, development, manufacturing, and delivery of crop protection and seed products globally.
He held board positions at Cefic, CropLife International Operations committee, and the VCI (association of chemical industries) North Rhine-Westphalia. Dirk focuses on sustainability commitments, talent development and DE&I initiatives.
