MNRE Constitutes Advisory Committee for Development of Online Platform for Hydrogen Sector

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) established an advisory committee to develop an online platform for monitoring advancements in green hydrogen technology and its supply chains. Professor G.D. Yadav, the former Vice-Chancellor of the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), has been appointed as one of the members of the committee.

The committee’s role includes designing and deploying the technology and supply chain tracking platform, as well as mapping data sources to ensure the portal’s information is updated regularly. It is tasked with delivering an initial report outlining the platform’s structure, tracking mechanisms, and data sources.

Additionally, the committee will finalize the platform’s deployment within three months of its formation. An implementation team from MNRE, DST, and NIC will support the committee in this endeavour.
