SOA and ICT Forge New Research Partnership

The Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed-to-be University (SOA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, aiming to boost the availability of skilled professionals in fields such as chemistry, chemical engineering, technology, biological sciences, and related areas.

SOA and ICT will promote collaboration among their scientists, research fellows, faculty members, and students. The MoU was signed by SOA’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, and ICT, Mumbai’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Aniruddha B. Pandit.

The collaboration will involve the exchange of personnel through deputation, in accordance with each institution’s regulations, as well as the organization of joint conferences, seminars, and expert lectures by professors from both institutions.

Additionally, there will be joint supervision of student projects and theses in mutually beneficial academic programs. Moreover, both institutions will provide access to their significant research and development facilities to promote academic and research interactions.
