Vedanta Aluminium, producer of aluminum, appointed Ravi Paliwal as CEO of ash management. With over 27 years of experience in the energy sector, Paliwal will manage ash management operations across Vedanta’s power division and Hindustan Zinc Limited.
The appointment highlights Vedanta’s dedication to sustainability and resource optimization. The company is focused on finding innovative uses for fly ash, a by-product of thermal power production, to support a circular economy. Vedanta has already formed partnerships to supply fly ash to cement producers for creating low-carbon cement.
