Alpex Solar Expands Solar Module Production to 2.4 GW at Mathura Facility

Alpex Solar Limited announced plans to expand its photovoltaic solar capacity to 2.4 GW by 2026. The significant increase will take place at the company’s Kosi Kotwan site in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, effectively doubling current solar capacity of 1.2 GW.

Additionally, Alpex Solar will start producing solar cells as part of the growth. The company is acquiring additional land adjacent to the existing Kosi Kotwan property. As reported by renewablewatch.in, the land will be used for the development of phase two and three of Alpex’s aluminium frame manufacturing operations.
