The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) introduced a mandatory star rating program for solar PV modules and grid-connected solar inverters. Delhi Test House has been granted NABL/BIS approval for testing solar PV modules, inverters, and pumps in accordance with BIS-CRS/BEE Schedule-35/38, the PM-KUSUM Yojana, and MNRE guidelines.
Delhi Test House is one of the oldest and most pioneering testing and analytical laboratories in India, recognized by both national and international accreditation bodies. Its photovoltaic module laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility focused on the research, development, and testing of solar PV modules.
As reported by renewablewatch.in, the laboratory is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by experienced researchers and engineers, enabling it to perform a wide range of tests. These include performance assessments, durability evaluations, and the characterization of the electrical and thermal properties of PV modules.
