Hero Future Energies Planning to Invest in Renewables

Hero Future Energies, the power production arm of the Hero Group, is planning to invest $20 billion over the next six years to significantly expand its capacity.

The company aims to increase its energy production capacity from the current 1.9 gigawatts (GW) to 30 GW by 2030. The expansion aligns with the broader goal of Indian firms ramping up renewable energy capabilities, as the Indian government targets 500 GW of clean energy by 2030 to mitigate emissions.

Hero Future Energies plans to achieve growth through wind, solar, and battery storage technologies. As reported by msn.com, the company already operates renewable projects in India, Ukraine, and Vietnam, and anticipates that 3.4 GW of capacity, currently under construction, will be operational within the next two years.
