Senvion Bags Wind Turbine Order (Conditional) from Continuum Green Energy

Senvion India announced a new order (conditional) from Continuum Green Energy for fifty of its recently launched 4.2M160 wind turbine generators (WTGs), totalling 210 MW. The project is scheduled for deployment in Gujarat or Karnataka, with deliveries beginning in April 2026.

In addition to the initial 50 WTGs, the agreement allows for an increase in the order (conditional) of up to fifty units, potentially expanding the project’s footprint in Gujarat and other states.

The flexibility demonstrates Senvion’s commitment to meeting its clients’ changing needs and supporting large-scale renewable energy initiatives across India. The order (conditional) is a significant milestone in Senvion’s ongoing collaboration with Continuum Green Energy.

The project will include the installation of Senvion’s advanced 4.2M160 turbines, which intelligently integrate cutting-edge technologies for accuracy in control and optimisation, extending the turbine’s life significantly and lowering operational costs.

The turbine’s modular design and site-specific adaptations allow it to efficiently meet the unique needs of each installation site. Amit Kansal, CEO and Managing Director, Senvion India, stated, “We are delighted to announce our launch order (conditional) for the new 4.2M160 turbine.
