Dr. C Anandharamakrishnan, currently the Director of the CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST) in Thiruvananthapuram, has taken on the additional role of Director at the CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI).
His appointment follows the retirement of Dr. Atul N. Vaidya, who has now assumed the position of Vice Chancellor at Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University (LITU) in Nagpur.
A Renowned Chemical Engineer and Academician
Dr. Anandharamakrishnan brings with him a wealth of experience as a distinguished chemical engineer and academic leader.
Prior to his leadership at CSIR-NIIST, he served as the Director of the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) in Thanjavur.
During his tenure at NIFTEM, he played a pivotal role in translating scientific innovations into real-world applications, contributing significantly to economic growth and societal well-being.
