Rockwell Automation, Inc., a global player in industrial automation and digital transformation, has unveiled its 2024 Sustainability Report.
The report outlines the company’s sustainability strategy, its outcomes, and the steps taken to build sustainable customers, a sustainable company, and sustainable communities.
Sustainability at the Core of Rockwell’s Vision

Empowering Rural Communities Through Technology
One of the standout initiatives in India is the “Economic and Social Development of Indian Villages Through Technology-Enabled Dairy Farming.” Launched in partnership with ISAP India Foundation and eVerse.AI in Antargaon, Maharashtra, the project has already shown impressive results.
In its first year, it led to a 15%-20% increase in milk production, improved milk quality, and enhanced household incomes. This initiative highlights the effectiveness of climate-resilient and water-conscious practices in rural development.
Promoting Diversity and Inclusion in the Workforce
Rockwell Automation’s “Re-Establish” initiative aims to support women in India in restarting their careers after a hiatus. The program offers training, mentorship, and workplace collaboration opportunities, fostering workplace diversity.
Over the course of six years, the initiative has successfully increased the representation of women in Rockwell’s workforce from 16% to 25%, driving both diversity and innovation.
Broader Sustainability Efforts
In addition to these specific initiatives, the 2024 Sustainability Report outlines Rockwell Automation’s broader sustainability efforts.
The company has invested in local communities, supported manufacturers in reducing energy consumption, optimizing water resources, and minimizing waste.
