Following the successful completion of a transformative proof-of-concept phase, AIQ – a Presight company – has secured a landmark $340 million contract with ADNOC. Over the next three years, AIQ will deploy ENERGYai and related AI solution across ADNOC’s upstream value chain to enhance efficiency and optimization.
Cutting-Edge AI for Upstream Operations
Built on 70 years of proprietary data and expertise, ENERGYai integrates large language model (LLM) technology with advanced agentic AI, specifically trained for ADNOC’s upstream workflows. This AI-driven solution streamlines essential tasks such as seismic analysis, geological modeling, and real-time process monitoring. It significantly reduces process times from months to days while cutting costs and emissions.

Deployment Timeline and Future Plans
According to the press release, the first operational version of ENERGYai will be completed by mid-2025. It will feature five AI agents covering subsurface operations. These will undergo test deployment across multiple upstream assets before scaling to thousands of additional wells. Over the three-year contract, AIQ will roll out ENERGYai across ADNOC’s 28 producing fields. These include some of the world’s largest and least carbon-intensive oilfields.
