Pondy Oxides Starts First Phase of Smelter Facility

Pondy Oxides and Chemicals Ltd., (POCL) a leading force in India’s recycling industry, commenced commercial production at the first phase of its state-of-the-art smelter facility in Thervoykandigai, Tamil Nadu. Phase One Adds 36,000 MTPA Capacity

The newly commissioned unit adds 36,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA) of capacity, forming the first phase of a larger plan that targets a total capacity of 72,000 MTPA. The company designed the facility to operate as a fully automated and integrated recycling hub, setting new benchmarks in India’s metal recovery and circular economy sectors.
