Arete Group to Invest in Dahej Industrial Park

Arete Group announced a ₹1,200 crore investment to develop phase-two of the Payal Industrial Park (PIP) in Dahej, Gujarat, expanding the park across 850 acres within the Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR). The move builds on the momentum of phase-one, which successfully attracted ₹12,000 plus crore in capital investments.

Focus on Future-Ready Sectors

Phase-two will cater to industries in specialty chemicals, green energy, advanced materials, and allied manufacturing, reinforcing Dahej’s position as a high-potential industrial hub. The park is designed with sustainability at its core, supporting industries looking to grow responsibly.

Sustainable Infrastructure with CETP and Green Technologies

Continuing its commitment to the environment, the park already houses a Central Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), launched in phase-one. With an initial capacity of 2.5 million litres per day (MLD) and expansion potential up to 50 MLD, the CETP will ensure efficient industrial waste treatment.

Arete Group has also partnered with Fourier Earth, a hydrogen technology startup from Palo Alto, to introduce on-site modular green hydrogen production units powered by renewable energy. In addition, the park will install biomass-powered steam boiler systems, replacing coal and reducing carbon emissions through green steam generation.

Integrated Worker Housing for a Live-Work Model

A standout feature of phase-two is its emphasis on worker well-being. Eighty acres have been allocated for residential development, including over 1,000 units comprising dormitories, studio apartments, and one-bedroom homes. The integrated housing approach aims to create a live-work ecosystem, boosting productivity and quality of life.

Plug-and-Play Facilities for Hazardous Industries

To attract global manufacturers, the park offers plug-and-play infrastructure with dedicated zoning for hazardous chemical industries. This ready-to-operate setup reduces lead time for new entrants and enhances the park’s value proposition for international players.

Driving Gujarat’s Green Industrial Transformation

With its forward-looking design and green tech integrations, phase-two of Payal Industrial Park reinforces Gujarat’s emergence as a hub for sustainable industrial growth. As reported by projectstoday.com, the project aligns closely with India’s national goals. These include low-emission manufacturing, green hydrogen adoption, and circular economy development.
