IPL Biologicals Ltd. (IPL), a global player in agri-biologicals with the widest portfolio of bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides, signed a strategic agreement with MITSUI & CO. INDIA PVT. LTD (Mitsui India) and Ag Smart Philippines. The collaboration focuses on the registration, marketing, and distribution of select bio-pesticide (microbial) products in the Philippines. These next-generation bio-pesticides are designed to replace hazardous chemical pesticides, offering farmers safer and more sustainable solutions.
Formal Signing Ceremony in Gurgaon
The agreement was officially signed at IPL’s corporate office in Gurgaon. Representing Mitsui India was Takahiko Watanabe, Head of Chemicals Division, while Harsh Vardhan Bhagchandka, President of IPL Biologicals, signed on behalf of IPL.

Harsh Vardhan Bhagchandka stated, “The tri-partite agreement brings together the technological strength of IPL with its large portfolio of agri-microbial products, the global marketing muscle of the Mitsui group, and the well-established distribution network of Ag Smart in the Philippines.” His remarks emphasized the synergies created by this collaboration, which aims to accelerate the adoption of bio-based solutions across Asia.
