IVL Introduces deja™ Care

Indorama Ventures (IVL) has launched deja™ Care, skin-friendly PET fibers and yarns for apparel, tested against 17 harmful chemicals and certified under OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, DIN EN 71-3, and ISO 17294-2 for top safety and quality.

Sustainable Chemistry for Sensitive Skin

What sets deja™ Care apart is its eco-conscious polymerization process, which, importantly, uses more environmentally friendly chemicals during PET production. As a result, apparel manufacturers and brands can create skin-sensitive products—such as certified maternity wear, underwear, infant and children’s clothing, school uniforms, and everyday fashion essentials—that prioritize both comfort and skin safety.

Fully Integrated Production for Quality and Traceability

All deja™ Care fibers and yarns are produced in fully integrated in-house facilities across Asia, allowing Indorama Ventures to maintain end-to-end control and full traceability of the manufacturing process. This integration ensures consistent quality and aligns with the company’s commitment to transparency and responsible sourcing.

Proven Performance, Now Extended to Apparel

Having already demonstrated outstanding results in hygiene applications such as baby wipes and diapers, deja™ Care now, consequently, extends its proven performance to the apparel industry. This expansion gives fashion brands a clear pathway to responsible and sustainable fashion choices, combining comfort, safety, and eco-efficiency.

Advancing Cleaner Manufacturing Practices

Beyond wearer safety, deja™ Care supports cleaner textile production. Fabric manufacturers gain cleaner wastewater, less sludge, and lower disposal needs, reducing environmental impact. With deja™ Care, Indorama Ventures reinforces its mission to provide sustainable, safe materials for a cleaner textile industry.
