NGEL and SCCL Sign MoU for Renewable Projects

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). The agreement was exchanged in the presence of SCCL Chairman and Managing Director Sh. N. Balram, along with senior officials from both organisations.

Focus on Renewable Energy Development

Under the strategic partnership, the two companies will jointly explore opportunities to develop a range of renewable energy projects. These initiatives include solar, wind, and hybrid systems with or without storage. Additionally, the collaboration aims to advance projects in green hydrogen, its derivatives, and green mobility solutions, strengthening India’s clean energy ecosystem.
