Loop Industries, Inc., a clean technology company advancing a circular plastics economy, has announced that its India joint venture ELITe (Ester Loop Infinite Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), formed with Ester Industries, has awarded the detailed engineering contract for the Infinite Loop™ India project to Toyo Engineering India Private Limited. Toyo, a globally recognised EPC firm, brings more than four decades of experience in executing large-scale industrial and petrochemical projects across India. This appointment marks a major milestone as the project moves from design into execution.
Transition from FEED to Final Engineering Phase
The award follows the successful completion of front-end engineering design (FEED) by Tata Consulting Engineers. With FEED now complete, the project has entered its final engineering phase ahead of construction. As per the press release, under the contract, Toyo will deliver the full scope of detailed design, procurement engineering, and technical documentation, ensuring technical readiness for on-site execution.
