Bondada Engineering Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bryanston Renewables FZCO, Dubai, to jointly develop green-powered data centre solutions across Bharat and select international markets. The agreement, signed on February 11, 2026, aims to meet the rapidly rising demand for energy-efficient data centres by integrating renewable energy with next-generation digital infrastructure.
Focus on Renewable-Powered Data Infrastructure
Under the MoU, both companies will collaborate to design, develop, and deploy comprehensive data centre project packages powered entirely by green energy. These turnkey solutions will serve domestic and global investors, as well as data centre operators seeking low-carbon, sustainable infrastructure. By combining clean energy with digital ecosystems, the partnership directly supports Bharat’s fast-growing data economy while addressing environmental concerns tied to rising energy consumption.
Meeting Bharat’s Surging Digital Demand
As cloud adoption, digital services, and domestic data storage requirements surge, Bharat’s data centre market continues to expand at an unprecedented pace. However, this growth also increases power demand and carbon footprints. Recognising this challenge, BEL is positioning itself to deliver future-ready, energy-efficient facilities that balance performance with sustainability. The company plans to leverage its strengths across renewable energy, telecom infrastructure, and engineering to create integrated green data centre ecosystems.
Bondada Raghavendra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, Bondada Group, said, “Bharat’s digital economy is expanding rapidly, driven by rising data consumption and cloud adoption. This creates an urgent need for energy-efficient and future-ready data centre infrastructure. Through this partnership, we aim to deliver green-powered solutions that support both digital growth and long-term sustainability.”
Driving Digital and Energy Transition
R Sreenivas, CEO, Bondada Group, noted, “The partnership marks an important milestone in our journey to contribute to Bharat’s digital and energy transition. By combining renewable energy with next-generation digital infrastructure, we are committed to building sustainable solutions that create long-term value for communities and stakeholders.”
Strategic Entry into a High-Growth Segment
As reported by apnnews.com, the collaboration marks BEL’s strategic expansion into the fast-growing digital infrastructure sector. At the same time, it reinforces the company’s broader commitment to sustainable engineering and clean energy adoption. As demand for low-carbon data centres rises worldwide, the BEL–Bryanston partnership positions both companies to capture new opportunities while supporting Bharat’s clean energy and digital transformation goals.
