Bessco and Renergo Form JV to Develop 1,000 MW Renewable Energy Projects

Bessco Power and Renergo Developers announced a joint venture (JV) to develop 1,000 MW of renewable energy projects over the next 18 to 24 months. Through this partnership, the companies aim to accelerate the development of large-scale clean energy infrastructure across India and Nepal. The collaboration reflects the growing demand for sustainable power solutions in South Asia and supports the region’s long-term energy transition goals.

Focus on Solar and Emerging Green Technologies

Initially, the joint venture will prioritize utility-scale solar power projects to expand renewable energy capacity in both markets. At the same time, the partners plan to explore opportunities in emerging clean technologies such as compressed biogas (CBG), green hydrogen, and green ammonia. By combining multiple renewable technologies, the venture aims to build a diversified and future-ready clean energy portfolio.
