Carbios Announces Leadership Transition

Carbios announced a significant evolution in its governance structure with the appointment of Benoît Grenot as Chief Executive Officer. The transition will officially take effect on June 1, 2026. The announcement follows the decision of Vincent Kamel, to retire from his role as Chief Executive Officer. He will step down from the position effective May 31, 2026.

Isabelle Parize, Chair of the Board of Directors of Carbios, expressed appreciation for Vincent Kamel’s contribution to the company’s development. She stated that under Kamel’s leadership, Carbios achieved several important milestones despite operating in a challenging business environment. These accomplishments include the signing of a strategic partnership with Wankai New Materials, notable progress in the Longlaville plant construction project, and disciplined management of the company’s operating expenses.

Parize emphasized that the appointment of Benoît Grenot reflects the Board’s commitment to ensuring continuity, stability, and long-term strategic execution. She also noted that Grenot’s international expertise, particularly his experience in China, along with his leadership capabilities, will support the company’s next phase of growth.
