ACHEMA Middle East will now take place from 11–13 October 2027 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center. Organisers have moved the inaugural edition to support stronger international participation, create enhanced business opportunities and deliver a more impactful launch event for the region’s process industries. Following a strategic review of market conditions and the regional business environment, Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia and DECHEMA decided to reschedule the exhibition to October 2027. The organisers stated that the revised timeline will provide a stronger platform for business networking, technology exchange, and partnership development across regional and international process industries.
Move Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030
The decision also followed consultations with exhibitors and key industry partners. With the support of the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, ACHEMA Middle East remains aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s long-term industrial transformation agenda. “Following consultation with our exhibitors, partners, government stakeholders and industry leaders, we have made the decision to move ACHEMA Middle East to October 2027,” said Alesya Deyanova, Show Manager, ACHEMA Middle East. “The revised dates will allow us to maximise industry participation and deliver the strongest possible debut edition from day one,” Deyanova added.
New Venue to Enhance Visitor Experience
The Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center will host the event for the first time. The venue offers state-of-the-art facilities and a strategic location near King Khalid International Airport, enabling efficient logistics for exhibitors, partners and attendees. As a result, organisers expect a smoother exhibition experience and improved accessibility for international participants.
Six Core Innovation Themes
The exhibition and conference programme will focus on six major themes:
Process Innovation
Pharma Innovation
Lab Innovation
Digital Innovation
Green Innovation
Energy Innovation
These themes will examine several important industry developments, including advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, industrial digitalisation, pharmaceutical technologies, laboratory automation, hydrogen, carbon management, circular economy initiatives, and clean energy solutions.
Strong Early Industry Support
Many international brands, specialised country pavilions and regional industrial buyers have already confirmed their participation. Consequently, ACHEMA Middle East is expected to become a significant meeting point for companies seeking to expand their presence in Saudi Arabia and neighbouring growth markets. As per the press release, by bringing together global technology providers, regional manufacturers and industrial buyers, the event aims to support collaboration and investment opportunities across the Middle East’s evolving process industries sector.
