For Fischer Medical Ventures, the achievement strengthens its strategic collaboration with Nanyang Biologics and supports its vision of introducing world-class AI-enabled molecular research capabilities to India. The company believes that India’s pharmaceutical sector is entering a new phase of growth driven by AI-based drug discovery, molecular modelling, and advanced life sciences research.
Through the partnership, Fischer Medical Ventures plans to:
Introduce advanced molecular research technologies to India
Collaborate with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
Support research institutions and universities
Accelerate the discovery of novel therapeutic molecules
The collaboration also aims to combine artificial intelligence with India’s scientific expertise and botanical heritage to support evidence-based therapeutic innovation, subject to scientific validation and regulatory approvals.
Exclusive Distribution of Selected NYB Technologies
Fischer Medical Ventures serves as the exclusive distributor in India for selected NYB technologies and scientifically developed plant-based nutraceutical products, subject to applicable regulatory approvals. The initial phase of the partnership focuses on nutraceutical formulations designed to support cardiovascular health, liver health, overall wellness. In addition, the companies intend to pursue future collaborations with universities, pharmaceutical manufacturers and research organisations to expand AI-enabled life sciences research in India.
Vecura Platform Uses Advanced Atomistic AI Models
At the core of Nanyang Biologics’ AI ecosystem is Vecura, an advanced molecular research platform that uses state-of-the-art atomistic AI models, including Meta FAIR’s Universal Models for Atoms (UMA). Through a secure, no-code environment, Vecura enables researchers to simulate molecular behaviour, predict material properties and perform high-throughput computational analysis. As a result, researchers may accelerate therapeutic discovery, improve research efficiency and reduce the computational complexity traditionally associated with molecular modelling.
Leadership Highlights India’s Innovation Potential
Ravindran Govindan, Chairman of Fischer Medical Ventures Limited, said, “NYB.AI’s recognition at NVIDIA GTC Taiwan 2026 validates the strength of the technology developed by our strategic partner, Nanyang Biologics. We are proud to work alongside an organisation that is helping redefine AI-driven molecular research, and we look forward to introducing these capabilities to India’s scientific and pharmaceutical community.”
He added that India possesses exceptional scientific talent, a globally respected pharmaceutical industry and a rich heritage of botanical knowledge, creating significant opportunities to accelerate innovation and support the discovery of new therapies.
Building an AI-Enabled Life Sciences Ecosystem
Svetlana Rao Raviwada, Whole-Time Executive Director of Fischer Medical Ventures Limited, said, “Our partnership with Nanyang Biologics is about more than bringing advanced technology to India; it is about building an AI-enabled life sciences ecosystem that strengthens collaboration between academia, research institutions and the pharmaceutical industry.” She added that platforms such as Vecura will help equip Indian researchers with world-class AI-powered molecular research capabilities that can accelerate scientific discovery and foster innovation across healthcare and life sciences.
Long-Term Vision for AI-Driven Pharmaceutical Research
Fischer Medical Ventures and Nanyang Biologics share a long-term vision of strengthening India’s position in AI-driven pharmaceutical research. As per the press release, by collaborating with academia, industry and research institutions, the partnership aims to accelerate scientific innovation and support India’s emergence as a global hub for innovation-led healthcare and next-generation therapeutic discovery, subject to scientific validation and regulatory approvals.
