ACME Solar Holdings significantly expanded its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolio by commissioning approximately 2.29 GWh of new storage capacity during the current financial year. Consequently, the company’s cumulative operational BESS capacity has reached 3.62 GWh across three project locations in Rajasthan. The achievement represents one of the fastest deployments of utility-scale battery energy storage systems in India. More importantly, it reinforces ACME Solar’s position as a key player in enhancing grid stability, managing peak electricity demand, and enabling greater integration of renewable energy into the national power grid. The newly commissioned battery storage capacity forms part of the company’s diversified renewable energy portfolio, which includes solar, wind, hybrid, Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE), and battery energy storage projects.

Expanding Renewable Energy Portfolio

Alongside its rapidly growing energy storage business, ACME Solar continues to strengthen its renewable energy generation portfolio. The company currently manages a diversified renewable energy portfolio of 8,070 MW, comprising:

Meanwhile, its operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity now stands at approximately 3.62 GWh, with additional renewable energy and storage projects under various stages of development.
