Aarti Industries has entered into a supply agreement with a leading global agrochemical products and solutions company for a specialised agrochemical intermediate. The specific agrochemical intermediate holds significant importance as a key input component for a widely used herbicide applied in diverse crops such as corn, soybean, cotton, sugarcane, sunflower, and more.
Aarti Industries has noted the changing landscape of agrochemical sourcing, emphasising India’s transition to a net exporter status. As reported by FORTUNE INDIA, the shift is particularly noteworthy in light of disruptions in plant operations in China. The company has also highlighted the emerging trend of easternisation in the sourcing of agrochemicals and their intermediates over the past decade.
