Job Description
Ensure all products and formulas are transferred from technical to manufacturing correctly utilizing First Lot Control process – first lot sample through final production sign-off.
Define manufacturing processes for all products & technologies based on scale-up methodology.
Establish production batch ticket templates to ensure standardization within technologies.
Optimize formulas to achieve cost effective products \
Knowledge in operating resins through recipe control system.
Responsible for design of equipment and processes for new and existing products and technologies from inception through commissioning and end use.
Maintaining operating procedures and operator training.
Troubleshooting of process related problems
Utilize LEAN principles to drive optimal process design and flow.
Maintaining the quality data of all the processes / batches and review of the same for process improvements.
Develop new SOPs and procedure related to the process
Drive improvements in process cycle time, sub-standard product loss, yield and come-off consistency toward meeting business goals for cost and quality.
Ensure consistent operating practices.
Be proficient in structured problem solving practices to drive root cause investigations for manufacturing related issues both internally and in the field.
