Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) inked a collaborative agreement with Shigan Quantum Technologies Ltd (Shigan) with the aim of advancing decarbonisation efforts. The partnership involves the Adani Group’s energy and city gas distribution arm, ATGL, and Shigan working together to create an ecosystem that facilitates the shift towards cleaner fuel alternatives such as Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). The objective is to decarbonize the entire supply chain.

The collaboration between ATGL and Shigan will specifically concentrate on promoting the adoption of natural gas in transportation and mining applications through sustainable solutions tailored for fleet operators. A key aspect of the joint efforts is the development of LNG retrofitment solutions, addressing various applications such as stationary engines, locomotives, and marine equipment.

The partnership will extend its focus to the creation of environmentally-friendly solutions for last-mile delivery providers in the form of CNG/LNG-based options and delve into the realm of e-mobility. As reported by abp LIVE, the collaborative venture aims to explore use cases for green hydrogen as a fuel alternative for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles. This multi-faceted approach underscores the commitment of ATGL and Shigan to contribute significantly to sustainable and eco-friendly solutions in the energy and transportation sectors.
