Asian Energy Services Bags Seismic Data Acquisition Contract for Rajasthan Basin

Asian Energy Services Ltd. (AES) bagged contract from Oil India Ltd. to conduct 2D seismic data acquisition over a vast area spanning 4,300 line kilometres (LKM) in the Rajasthan basin. The contract is valued at around ₹82 crore. The project is scheduled to be completed within eighteen months.

The contract boosts AES’s already substantial portfolio, bringing its total order book to nearly ₹1,000 crore. Known for its expertise in geophysics and seismic services, the company offers a wide range of onshore services, including seismic acquisition, imaging, and field evaluation.

AES specializes in both two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) seismic data acquisition, as well as EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) and O&M (operations and maintenance) services for oil and gas companies.

Oil India Ltd., a Maharatna public sector enterprise under the ministry of petroleum and natural gas, is a key partner in this project, emphasizing its strategic importance.
