Asian Energy Services, a service provider in the energy sector, aims to double its revenue to ₹600 crore by expanding into mineral mining. The company is in talks with the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) and Vedanta’s Cairn to explore mining opportunities.
A subsidiary of Oilmax Energy, Asian Energy Services offers geophysical data acquisition (seismic), production facility construction (EPC), and operation and maintenance services. Over the past 2.5 years, the company has ventured into the coal sector and plans to further expand into coal gasification and mineral mining.
Currently, the company is working on five projects to construct coal handling plants for various Coal India subsidiaries. As reported by Projects Today, the company is positive about getting contracts from Oil India, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, and Vedanta’s Cairn Oil and Gas.
