Bajaj Sugar Signs MoU with EverEnviro to Develop CBG plants

Bajaj Hindustan Sugar Limited (Bajaj Sugar) and EverEnviro Private Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development of compressed biogas (CBG) plants, which will be located in Uttar Pradesh. Bajaj Hindustan Sugar currently generates around 5,00,000 metric tons of press mud annually across its 14 operational sugar mills. This substantial output forms a foundation for establishing CBG plants with a combined daily capacity of 70 metric tons.

As reported by RenewableWatch, the steady supply of press mud from Bajaj’s sugar mills will significantly bolster the CBG production capability of EverEnviro’s plants. Furthermore, the byproduct of CBG, namely fermented organic manure, will play a crucial role in promoting regenerative agriculture by enriching soil health and fertility in the region.
