The partnership, which was equally owned by both firms since its establishment on January 28, 2011, focused on the sales and marketing of pharmaceutical products across India. Bayer will now take complete control of the venture following the pre-established terms of the joint venture agreement.

As reported by the Financial Express, the collaboration effectively combines Zydus’s extensive marketing, sales capabilities, and distribution network in India with Bayer’s global prowess in launching innovative products and introducing new advancements in the Indian market.
