Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has partnered with Refroid Technologies to introduce India’s first locally developed liquid coolant designed for next-generation AI-driven and sovereign data centers.

The innovation sets a new industry benchmark by enhancing efficiency and sustainability in data center cooling.

BPCL Leads the Way in Innovation

BPCL plans to implement the coolant in its own data centers to demonstrate its effectiveness. “We are honoured to take the lead in advancing this pioneering initiative,” said Shubhankar Sen, Executive Director of BPCL.

Sen added, “This coolant is a significant step toward India’s energy independence and sustainability. It not only supports AI and sovereign data infrastructure but also aligns with global environmental goals, reinforcing India’s position as a technology leader”.
