BTR to Invest in Cathode Plant in Morocco

BTR New Material Group declared a significant investment of $500 million to set up an innovative cathode manufacturing facility in Morocco. The strategic initiative, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of cathodes, represents a pivotal advancement in addressing the growing worldwide need for lithium-ion batteries.

BTR New Material Group, a subsidiary of China Baoan Group, will be in charge of the investment and construction. As reported by MOROCCO WORLD NEWS, The operational duties will be overseen by a Moroccan entity established by Bnuo International Holding, another subsidiary of BTR.
