Credence Solar Launches TOPCon Bifacial PV Panel

Credence Solar has launched its latest innovation — the Hyper Nova N series — featuring n-type TOPCon glass-to-glass bifacial modules. These advanced solar panels offer power outputs ranging from 580 W to 600 W, with an impressive front-side efficiency of 22.45% to 23.25%. Thanks to a rear-side gain of up to 10%, the 600 W module can deliver a total output of up to 660 W, making it ideal for high-yield solar installations.

Advanced Cell and Circuit Architecture

Each panel is constructed using 144 half-cut TOPCon bifacial cells. It also employs a 16-busbar configuration, improving current collection and overall performance. This design supports a bifaciality factor of up to 85%, maximizing energy generation from both sides of the panel.

High Electrical Performance Metrics

The modules boast an open-circuit voltage between 51.25 V and 51.5 V. They also feature a short-circuit current ranging from 14.35 A to 14.70 A, ensuring strong and stable electrical performance across conditions.

Rugged and Efficient in All Climates

Engineers designed the panels for durability, giving them an IP68 rating and a robust glass-to-glass construction. Each unit measures 2,278 mm x 1,134 mm x 35 mm and weighs 33.75 kg. The designers engineered them to operate reliably in extreme temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. As reported by pv-magazine-india.com, these modules have a Pmax temperature coefficient of -0.32% per °C. This allows them to maintain efficiency even in hot climates.
