Danfoss Introduces Next-Gen Intelligent Drives: iC2 and iC7

Danfoss India has introduced its advanced energy-efficient technology, the iC2 and iC7 variable frequency drives, in Pune and Mumbai. The drives are primarily utilized across various industry sectors to optimize motor speeds, resulting in significant energy savings and enhanced operational efficiency.

Ravichandran Purushothaman, President, Danfoss India stated, “Through our long-standing relationships with customers, we have set new benchmarks in energy efficiency and decarbonisation. The launch of the iC7 and iC2 technology platforms has elevated industry standards in efficiency, motor control, security, and reliability for numerous critical applications”.

As reported by Autocar Professional, the iC2 drive is versatile and can enhance efficiency by 40%, while the iC7 drive offers top-tier energy-efficient solutions for optimizing processes from control to packaging, as noted in the press release.
