Danfoss Power Solutions, a global player in mobile and industrial hydraulics and electric powertrain systems, has broken ground on a new greenfield plant in Talegaon, Pune. Spanning seven acres, the facility marks a major milestone in Danfoss’ expansion in India. The company is investing over ₹1,000 crore to more than double its manufacturing footprint while advancing its sustainability goals.
Strengthening India’s Industrial Growth
Danfoss Group has continuously expanded its manufacturing and R&D capabilities in India, playing a crucial role in the country’s industrial development.
The Talegaon plant will be Danfoss’ seventh manufacturing facility in India, complementing its existing sites in Chennai, Mumbai, Vadodara, Bengaluru, and two other locations in Pune. Situated on a 44-acre plot, the new campus will enable Danfoss to:
- Expand production capacity for key product lines, including pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves.
- Introduce new product lines to meet rising customer demand.
- Advance sustainability initiatives to support the company’s goal of decarbonizing global operations by 2030.
- Establish an Application Development Center (ADC) to drive collaborative engineering and accelerate R&D cycles.
