DCM Shriram Launches Compressed Biogas Plant at Ajbapur Unit

DCM Shriram Limited commissioned its new Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant at the Ajbapur Unit. CBG is a value-added product derived from the byproduct of the sugar process. This renewable and environmentally friendly fuel helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on fossil fuels. The project not only strengthens the company’s revenue stream but also aligns with DCM Shriram’s commitment to sustainability.

Investment and Project Approval

Earlier, the company’s board of directors approved the establishment of the twelve TPD integrated compressed biogas plant at the Ajbapur unit, with a total investment of ₹131.30 crore.
