Deluxe Recycling inaugurated India’s largest multi-layered plastic (MLP) recycling plant in Sarigam, Gujarat, with substantial backing from Circulate Capital. The strategic expansion is designed to establish Deluxe as the leading MLP recycler in South Asia.
As reported by ManufacturingToday, the new plant will enhance the company’s recycling capacity from 13,000 to 27,400 tons per annum (TPA), with an ambitious goal to process over 2,00,000 tons of used beverage cartons (UBCs) and MLPs by the fiscal year 2030.
As a pioneer in waste management in India, Deluxe Recycling employs proprietary technology to transform MLP waste into highly sought-after products, including supplying ninety percent of recycled seat boards to the automotive sector. The plant represents a pivotal advancement in India’s efforts towards sustainable plastic waste management.
