Dhanuka Agritech Planning Joint Venture Plant in India with Kimitec

Dhanuka Agritech, with manufacturing units in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir, has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Kimitec, a Spain-based company. The idea is to explore potential business opportunities, including the establishment of a joint venture in India focusing on the development and commercialization of biological products derived from natural molecules and sources.

The collaboration also involves plans to establish a research and development facility within the country. Biological products, harnessing botany, microbiology, microalgae, and bioinformatics, constitute a sustainable category offering crop protection, soil health, and plant nutrition.

As reported by businessline, the products can be used independently or in conjunction with traditional chemical solutions based on specific needs. “The global demand for biological products is on the rise, and there’s an upward trend for such solutions in India as well,” commented Rahul Dhanuka, Joint Managing Director, Dhanuka Agritech. The company already has tie-ups with seven agrochemical firms from the US, Japan, and Europe.
