DKSH Performance Materials has expanded its life science business in the Asia Pacific by acquiring Elite Organic Sdn. Bhd., a reputable supplier for the pharmaceutical, health supplement, and food industries in Malaysia and Singapore. Established in 1995, Elite Organic has been a trusted partner for around 30 years, representing major manufacturers from Europe, the US, Japan, and Asia.
The acquisition will integrate Elite Organic, which boasts net sales exceeding CHF 5 million and strong profitability, into DKSH’s existing operations. Phoon Khye Wang, President of Elite Organic, mentioned that the merger would enhance their market position and facilitate growth in the stable life science sectors.
Thomas Sul and Natale Capri, Co-Heads of DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials, expressed their satisfaction with the acquisition, highlighting the strong product portfolio and growth potential in Malaysia. They also welcomed Phoon and his team to DKSH.
As per the press release, the transaction is set to close in the second quarter of 2024, pending customary closing conditions.
