DP World Enhances India Presence with Advanced Warehousing Facility in Goa

DP World has expanded its warehousing operations to Loutulim, Goa, boosting its Indian logistics network. The ‘Grade A’ facility is strategically placed near important transport nodes, including Mormugaon port and Dabolim airport, facilitating access to main highways.

The warehouse, spanning 27,512 sq. ft. with 2,620 pallet positions, is tailored for storing chemical and healthcare products and meets stringent safety standards. It features advanced fire safety systems and air quality control measures to ensure the safety and well-being of its employees.

Anoop Chauhan, who leads Contract Logistics and Cold Chain Solutions at DP World Subcontinent, highlighted the company’s dedication to forging a comprehensive supply chain network. The facility not only advances DP World’s warehousing services in India but also provides efficient trade solutions and connectivity to diverse markets across the country.

Focused on customer service and equipped with sophisticated warehouse management technologies, DP World is set to enhance trade facilitation on both local and national scales.

As reported by ManufacturingToday, the new addition is part of DP World’s extensive warehousing network in India, which now encompasses over five million sq. ft. across sixty locations. Offering customized storage solutions, sanitary conditions, and full logistics services, the Loutulim warehouse aims to optimize supply chains for its customers in Goa and other regions.
