Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has formed an exclusive partnership with Sanofi Healthcare India Private Limited (SHIPL) to exclusively promote and distribute Sanofi’s vaccine brands throughout India. Headquartered in Hyderabad, Dr Reddy’s will undertake the promotion and distribution of Sanofi’s paediatric and adult vaccine brands, including Hexaxim, Pentaxim, Tetraxim, Menactra, FluQuadri, Adacel, and Avaxim 80U.
The brands, with a combined estimated sales of approximately ₹426 crore according to IQVIA’s February 2024 data, will be owned, manufactured, and imported into India by Sanofi. As reported by businessline, the collaboration significantly bolsters Dr Reddy’s presence in the vaccine segment, propelling it to the second position among vaccine players in the Indian market.
