Engineers India Ltd (EIL) is actively exploring opportunities in the renewable energy sector and is currently in discussions with green energy developers to design and build offshore wind infrastructure in India.
Chairperson and Managing Director Vartika Shukla announced that EIL has reactivated its offshore division, with plans to take on multiple projects in the coming year. EIL has been a key player in the development of offshore oil and gas ventures, such as Mumbai High and other fields along the western and eastern coasts of India.
As reported by livemint.com, the company’s offshore pipeline expertise spans across various areas, including conceptual studies, feasibility assessments, engineering design, surveys, environmental planning, procurement, construction oversight, and project management.
