EKKI to Invest in Hyper Factory in India

EKKI is launching a cutting-edge, column-free, single-span hyper factory to boost its global pump manufacturing capabilities.

The advanced facility will house the KOOT Advanced Components Unit, KKV Labs for innovative design and engineering, quantum testing and quality facilities, and the EKKI Academy.

The factory will strengthen EKKI’s “Make in India, For the World” vision by producing high-precision pumps, systems, and components for international markets.

Leadership’s Vision for Innovation and Excellence

Arumugam P, EKKI’s Chief Executive stated, “To build world-class products, one needs world-class factories and people”.

Kanishka Arumugam, Co-CEO of EKKI, highlighted the project’s broader significance. He described the hyper factory as ‘more than just a manufacturing unit – it is a machine that builds machines’.

Smart Production System and Workforce Development

EKKI’s Smart Production System will integrate advanced machines and workstations, encouraging creativity and future-focused work.

To prepare its workforce for this next-generation environment, the EKKI Academy will provide specialized training and reskilling programs.

Moreover, EKKI remains committed to promoting gender diversity. Arumugam reaffirmed the company’s goal to increase women’s representation across all organizational levels.

Commitment to Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship

The hyper factory will incorporate sustainable practices, including solar energy, water conservation, and circular economy principles. These initiatives reflect EKKI’s dedication to environmental responsibility while maintaining high-quality production standards.

Strengthening Ties with Tamil Nadu and Coimbatore

EKKI is deeply invested in the Tamil Nadu region, particularly Coimbatore.

The company leverages the area’s skilled workforce, engineering expertise, leading research labs, and robust supply chain to drive advanced pump manufacturing.

Expanding Global Reach Through Innovation

With four state-of-the-art production facilities and a strategic international joint venture with Germany’s HOMA, EKKI exports its products to over 25 countries.

The Arumugam family, who also owns Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd, acquired Deccan Industries’ assets and facilities in 2013. Since then, they have significantly enhanced the manufacturing capabilities of both the EKKI and D+Deccan brands.

As reported by worldpumps.com, through innovation, sustainability, and a strong regional commitment, EKKI continues to shape the future of advanced pump manufacturing on a global scale.
