Envision Energy India has announced that it has secured orders from Juniper Green Energy (JGE) for the supply of 200 EN182|5MW wind turbine generators and a 320 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) solution.

The orders highlight the growing collaboration between the two companies in advancing renewable energy solutions.

Deployment of Wind Turbines for State and Central Projects

JGE plans to deploy the wind turbine generators across its various projects, winning them through State and Central level auctions. The move aligns with JGE’s strategy to expand its renewable energy capacity and contribute to the growing demand for clean energy in India.

Battery Energy Storage System for Dispatchable Renewable Energy

As part of the deal, JGE will also utilize Envision’s BESS for its firm dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project, which was awarded by SJVN.

The storage system will consist of 5MWh, 20-foot containerized storage units, providing high-performance and high-safety Lithium Ion 315Ah cells.

An Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT)-based energy management system will integrate the system, paired with a 3.45 MW power conversion system unit.

Advanced Technology and Global Standards

Envision designs and manufactures its energy storage solution to meet the highest global standards.

The combination of AIoT integration, high-performance Lithium-Ion cells, and a reliable power conversion system offers key benefits. Together, these features will provide JGE with a robust and efficient energy storage solution.

Envision will also offer comprehensive lifecycle operation and maintenance services to ensure the long-term performance of these systems.

Juniper Green Energy Strengthens Renewable Portfolio

Juniper Green Energy recently placed an order with First Solar for 1 GW of advanced Series 7 FT1 cadmium telluride (CdTe) thin-film photovoltaic (PV) modules. This is in addition to its significant deal with Envision.

The company has also signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) with several government entities, including SJVN, GUVNL, and NTPC.

As reported by pv-magazine-india.com, these moves further solidify JGE’s position in the renewable energy market. They expand its capacity and reinforce its commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
