Epsilon Advanced Materials is planning to set up a ₹9,000 crore anode production facility in Karnataka, with an annual output of 90,000 tons. The investment will occur in two stages, according to Epsilon Group Managing Director Vikram Handa.
Initially, ₹4,000 crore will be invested to build a 30,000 ton capacity anode plant by Q4 2026. The remaining ₹5,000 crore will be invested in expanding the facility to 90,000 tons by 2031. The total capital expenditure of ₹9,000 crore is planned for the company’s operations over the next eight years.
