GAIL (India) planning to establish approximately twenty-six Bio CNG plants over the next two to three years, acting as both producers and joint venture partners with raw material suppliers or biogas producers. The natural gas company, along with its joint venture partners, is expected to invest up to ₹1,300 crore.
As reported by Projects Today, to facilitate this, the company has issued an expression of interest (EoI) across India, seeking companies that meet specific criteria to form joint ventures for raw materials such as paddy straw, municipal solid waste, and sugarcane press muds.
