The multipurpose plant is designed to manufacture various bio-based chemicals, including bio-butanol and bio-based ethers, catering to diverse industries such as coatings and resins, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food sectors. These specialty chemicals are derived from renewable resources through environmentally friendly processes, emphasizing the principles of green chemistry.
Collaborating closely with farmers, Godavari Biorefineries developed sustainable agricultural value chains to ensure a consistent supply of feedstock for its bio-based chemicals.
